About the Consultancy
myAgro is seeking a Market Access Consultant to help grow farmer awareness of and enrollment in the Côte d'Ivoire digital training program. This role is about finding and reaching the farmers who need our training, not about inputs or supply chains. You will identify the channels, from social media to community and local partners, that reach farmers where they are, and turn that reach into real training sign-ups. You will work closely with the Country, Program, and Tech teams to plan outreach campaigns, test what resonates with farmers, and track enrollment results, bringing focused market access capacity to myAgro Côte d'Ivoire during a period of program growth.
Scope of Work
- Map where target farmers already are, including social media platforms, community groups, radio, and local networks, to identify the best channels for outreach
- Plan and run social media and community outreach campaigns that build awareness of the digital training program
- Identify and build relationships with community leaders, local partners, and influencers who can help reach and refer farmers
- Test and iterate messaging and outreach approaches to see what actually drives farmers to sign up for training
- Conduct field visits to understand farmer needs, gather feedback on outreach messaging, and validate what is working
- Track and report on reach, engagement, and training enrollment numbers by channel
- Collaborate with Country, Program, and Tech teams to ensure outreach content and channels are adapted to local farmer needs
- Maintain feedback loops between field teams and country leadership to improve outreach strategy continuously
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality documentation, including outreach playbooks, content calendars, and SOPs
- Define the most relevant market access content areas and convert them into simple, practical, and trusted learning materials for farmers.
- Support the design and testing of different content approaches to assess what farmers engage with most and what appears most useful to them.
Deliverables
Deliverables will be finalized with the selected consultant at the start of the engagement and may include:
- A farmer outreach and channel mapping report covering social media, community, and local partner channels in Côte d'Ivoire
- A set of tested outreach campaigns and content, with results on reach and training sign-ups
- A network of community leaders or local partners engaged to help refer farmers to training
- Regular reporting on outreach performance and enrollment trends by channel
- An end-of-engagement handover note summarizing what channels and messages worked, and recommended next steps
You Have:
- 2 or more years of experience in marketing, community outreach, social media management, or a related field
- Experience running social media or community campaigns that reach and engage a rural or hard-to-reach audience
- Comfort building relationships with community leaders and local partners
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data; experience tracking campaign or engagement metrics is a plus
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve across strategic and day-to-day challenges
- A track record of delivering projects independently, as this is a consultant role with a defined scope
- Fluency in French and English required
- A passion for myAgro's mission, vision, and values
