About the Role:

myAgro is managing and growing a poultry package option to help farmers increase their revenue outside of the annual harvest period and to reach more women clients. The poultry associate will support poultry operations and help scale the program while analyzing results to make continuous improvements. You will also work with different teams and external partners to increase the reach of the project.

We're looking for a program associate profile with a focus on quality management and experience in managing a field team.
The poultry associate will report to the Sales Operations Manager.

 

You Will:

 

Team Management & Operations:

  • Manage Mother Unit Supervisors team who are responsible for setting up MU, attending chicks reception, training the VEs on production best practices, vaccination and quality control of the chicks and transfers from MU to MU
  • Oversee MU recruitment processes
  • Develop and implement production quality control processes and playbooks

Production Planning & Coordination:

  • Manage chicks reception and delivery calendar at zone and MU level
  • Coordinate production materials dispatching
  • Handle production loans and commissions calculation and bookkeeping

Program Development & Improvement:

  • Use existing pilot data to improve poultry package, including incorporating farmer feedback into modifications and finding new suppliers
  • Develop tools and training curriculum for project implementation
  • Train field teams on implementation of the poultry project initiative and communication to farmers
  • Anticipate obstacles and set up the team to achieve their goals
  • Use insights from operations to make improvements and shape the scale up of the poultry package

 

You Have:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in related field
  • You have 2 years of work experience and significant project management experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently on important projects
  • French and English proficiency
