About the Role:
myAgro is seeking an Innovation Associate Consultant to support the design, testing, and scaling of new farmer engagement approaches over a fixed-term engagement. This role combines developing new solutions, curriculum development, and digital learning tools design with hands-on field work to ensure that innovations are grounded in the realities of the farmers we serve. You will collaborate closely with field teams, data analysts, and country leads to develop training content, run pilot experiments, and track implementation outcomes, bringing focused capacity to myAgro's innovation function during a critical period of program growth.
You Will:
Scope of Work
- Coordinate with the Innovations team to operationalize new hypotheses into structured, measurable experiments.
- Support the design, documentation, execution, and evaluation of innovation experiments and pilots.
- Conduct field visits to test new approaches, gather farmer feedback, and report regularly on the implementation.
- Support data collection, validation, and analysis of experiment and survey data, synthesizing learnings for the Program Manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Present findings and updates to cross-functional teams, including field staff, managers, and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with country teams to ensure that innovation content is culturally relevant, and adapted to farmer needs in Senegal.
- Maintain feedback loops between field and Innovations teams to continuously improve program design.
- Work with field teams to identify relevant farmer stories, questions, and insights that can inform communication content.
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality project documentation, including training materials, implementation guides, SOPs, and presentations for farmers and field staff.
Deliverables
Deliverables will be finalized with the selected consultant at the start of the engagement and may include:
- A set of finalized training curricula and learning materials (digital and audio-visual) for priority pilot topics, iterated based on field data and learnings
- Field-tested pilot reports summarizing farmer feedback, implementation challenges, and outcomes.
- Experiment documentation (hypotheses, methodology, A/B tests), with documented results and learnings.
- Project plans, reports, presentations of findings and updates
- An end-of-engagement handover note summarizing pilot results, content performance, and recommended next steps.
You Have:
- 3 or more years of experience in curriculum or training development, preferably with progressively expanding programs.
- Experience working with and training rural farming communities in West Africa.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and the ability to create engaging audio-visual and digital training content.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data; experience with tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or Excel are a plus.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing priorities while problem-solving across both strategic and day-to-day challenges.
- A passion for myAgro's mission, vision, and values.
- Fluency in French and English required. Wolof a plus!
