About the Role:

The Senegal Human Resources Manager is a pivotal leadership position within myAgro Senegal. Your leadership and vision will help shape a high-performing, motivated, and engaged workforce, driving the success of myAgro Senegal.

Your responsibilities include leading all HR activities in Senegal and enhancing HR operations through strategic policy and system implementations. You will champion myAgro's values while promoting diversity and inclusion, leading a remarkable Human Resources team, and maintaining a clear vision for excellence. You will report to the Director of HR.

 

You Will:

  • Oversee HR activities, including recruitment, contracts, onboarding, payroll, performance management, health & wellbeing, and employee exits.
  • Ensure constructive feedback channels for the Senegal team to foster transparency and collaboration.
  • Guarantee compliance with the Senegal Labor Law to maintain legal and ethical standards in all HR practices.
  • Collaborate with the Director of HR to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of HR operations in Senegal by implementing policies and systems.
  • Lead and manage a growing HR team to achieve operational excellence and support the entire Senegal team.
  • Champion myAgro values, ensuring they are upheld and promoted as myAgro grows.

 

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, ideally having supported a company through growth.
  • Required: English and French proficiency.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Experience with Senegal Labor Law and Employee Code.
  • Experience developing and rolling out HR policies and systems.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as BambooHR, PaySpace, or equivalent platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement of HR processes using artificial intelligence (AI) tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar).
  • Analyzed HR data and developed meaningful dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
