About the Role:

The Innovations Associate will play a key role in designing, testing, and scaling new farmer engagement approaches at myAgro. Reporting to the Senior Impact & Training Associate, this role combines developing new solutions, curriculum development, and digital learning tools design, with hands-on field work to ensure that innovations are grounded in the realities of the farmers we serve. The Innovations Associate will collaborate closely with field teams, data analysts, and country leads to develop training content, run pilot experiments, and track implementation outcomes.

 

You Will:

  • Design and develop training curricula and learning materials for farmers and field staff, including digital and audio-visual content adapted to rural contexts.
  • Conduct field visits to test new approaches, gather farmer feedback, and follow up on the implementation of innovation pilots.
  • Partner with the Innovations team to operationalize new hypotheses into structured, measurable experiments.
  • Develop and iterate on training modules based on field observations, A/B testing, and outcome data.
  • Collaborate with country teams to ensure that innovation content is culturally relevant, locally resonant, and adapted to farmer needs in Senegal.
  • Support data collection and validation efforts to track the progress and results of innovation initiatives.
  • Present findings and curriculum updates to cross-functional teams, including field staff, managers, and senior leadership.
  • Maintain feedback loops between field teams and the Innovations team to continuously improve program design.
  • Coordinate the production and publication of short-form content promoting digital training for platforms such as TikTok and WhatsApp.
  • Track engagement metrics (views, shares, comments, click-throughs) to assess reach and farmer interest in digital content.
  • Test and iterate on different content formats on social media, such as TikTok, to improve farmers’ reach.
  • Work with field teams to identify relevant farmer stories, questions, and insights that can inform social media content.

 

You Have:

  • A bachelor's degree in education, agronomy, international development, social sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum or training development, preferably with progressively expanding programs.
  • Experience working with and training rural farming communities in West Africa.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and the ability to create engaging audio-visual and digital training content.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data experience with tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or Excel are a plus.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with managing multiple ongoing priorities while problem-solving across both strategic and day-to-day challenges.
  • A passion for myAgro's mission, vision, and values.
  • Fluency in French and English required. Wolof a plus!
